I tried copying the disk's contents with Disk Utility to transfer over to Windows through the shared folder, but it doesn't work. But when I suspend Windows, the disk reads fine in OS X. What's worse is that when I try to insert the disk with OS X active, it won't read either. ![]() I go to My Computer, double click the CD drive, and there is nothing there. I insert the disk, the optical drive makes its usual noises, but then it's as if I never inserted the disk. ![]() I'm running Windows XP Home edition through VMware Fusion virtualization and I am trying to install software from a CD for my new Blackberry Pearl, but when I insert the disk with Windows open, it does not read the disk. ![]()
